Mr. Frank (Bud) Lott, age 84 of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023. He was born on November 13, 1939 in Canton, Georgia. He was the son of the late Frank “Red” Lott and Edna Florence Barton Lott.
Mr. Lott served in the US Army Reserves. He retired from GEO Chemicals as a Chemist; he was on the board of the County Commissioners for 24 years, and he lettered in track at West Georgia.
Mr. Lott is survived by his daughter, Neeve Owen (Barry); son, Barton Lott (Julie); son-in-law, David Adams; grandchildren, Lindsey Landrum (Jody), Mary Ella Owen (TJ), Logan Adams, and Dori Owen; and great-grandchildren, Carter Landrum, Walker Landrum, and Isla Montgomery.
Mr. Lott is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Billie Sue Grimes Lott; daughter, Leslei Lott Adams; and sister, Tessie Peyton.
The funeral service for Mr. Lott will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023 at two o’clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery.
The family of Mr. Lott will receive family and friends on Friday, December 15, 2023 from twelve o’clock in the afternoon until funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.
