There’s only a few days left to get ready to get a new doo before going back to school at FHF Hair Design during their annual Free Back to School Haircut Day.
The 13th annual event at the downtown Cedartown Salon is being hosted next Monday, July 17 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Youth will have the opportunity to grab school supplies along with a haircut and free food items (hot dogs and cookies) during the Monday event.
Waffle House is also providing a free waffle ticket for participating kids, and Home Depot will have a Builders Workshop going on as well.
Three.o.three by Bronzed is hosting story times every 30 minutes by Ferst Readers during Monday’s event as well.
Smoking Grizzly BBQ is grilling hot dogs provided by The HON Company, and GFL Environmental is providing cookies.
Those who want to donate school supplies can do so at FHF Hair Design during their normal hours as well. They need backpacks, pencils, erasers, pens, glue, rules, crayons, scissors, composition books, kleenex packs and boxes, hand sanitizer and much more to hand out.
Donations for the clothing closet are also underway as well.
