Wet weather forced First Baptist Church of Cedartown to push back their planned block party, but now it is coming back later this month to Turner Street Park.
The new date for the Turner Street Park Community Block Party is Sunday, July 30 from 5 to 7 p.m.
The church plans to bring an evening of fun to the Turner Street area with free food, snow cones, face painting, inflatables and much more.
Church leaders are hoping the event will bring people together in fellowship for a fun evening.
It is free for all to enjoy.
Stormy weather on June 21 forced the church to postpone their original plans for the Block Party for a Wednesday evening. The new event date comes just days before students return back to class for a new school year in.
