Ms. Eleanor Page Hampton, age 87, of Rockmart, formerly of Atlanta, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022.
Mrs. Hampton was born on March 24, 1934, the daughter of Golden Palmer and Annie Warren Palmer.
She was born in Atlanta and had lived most of her life in Atlanta and Florida before moving to Rockmart in 2003.
Eleanor loved life and enjoyed playing pool and bingo. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hampton was preceded in death by three children: Linda Joyce Hester, Steve Hester, and Barbara Hester; and two brothers: Oliver Palmer and Golden Palmer, Jr.
Mrs. Hampton is survived by three sons: David LeNoir (Ed Hewett), James LeNoir and William Marsh (Teresa); seven grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside services will be held Monday, February 28, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Rose Hill Cemetery with David LeNoir delivering the eulogy.
Pallbearers for Mrs. Hampton include: David LeNoir, Ed Hewett, Steven LeNoir, John Bohannon, James LeNoir, and William Marsh.
The family will receive friends on Monday prior to the graveside service from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
