Voters from around Polk County have the opportunity to cast a ballot early in local elections for 2023, and can still do so for the next three weeks ahead of the November vote.

Precincts in Cedartown and Rockmart opened this morning for early voting for the countywide SPLOST Extension vote, and for local contested elections in Aragon and Rockmart.

Voters who have registered can head to the polls with a state-issued photo ID and take part in the 2023 election starting today and through Friday, November 3, 2023. The registration deadline to take part in this year’s election for those who weren’t already was last Tuesday, October 10.

The Rockmart precinct is at the Nathan Dean Community Center at 605 Goodyear Ave., Rockmart.

Early voting in Cedartown is now taking place at the Goodyear Civic Center on Prior Street with a move of the precinct this year. The Board of Elections WILL NOT be hosting early voting for this round, and have moved it to the Goodyear Civic Center.

Check back for more voting coverage as it becomes available.
