Dr. Lyndsay Claroni

She Has Received Degree of Fellow from AAFP

ROME – Dr. Lyndsay B. Claroni, D.O., has achieved the Degree of Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP).

Claroni sees patients of all ages at Atrium Health Floyd Primary Care Family Medicine in Taylorsville.

Established in 1971, the AAFP Degree of Fellow recognizes family physicians who have distinguished themselves through service to family medicine and ongoing professional development.

According to the AAFP, family physicians conduct one-fifth of the total medical office visits in the U.S. per year, more than any other specialty.

“My approach to medicine involves listening to the patient first and foremost,” Claroni said. They can come to me with any concerns, and I promise to listen and hear their entire history before making a medical decision.”

She is also the medical director of Atrium Health Floyd’s school nurse program for Floyd County Schools, Rome City Schools, Polk County Schools and Darlington School.

Dr. Claroni’s office is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. to noon on Friday. Call 770-684-8700 to make an appointment.
