Mr. Charles Alton McAlister, age 71 of Rockmart, passed away Friday, November 18, 2022.
Mr. McAlister was born May 30, 1951 in Cartersville, son of the late Thomas Monroe McAlister and the late Aileene Ridley McAlister.
He was a self-employed carpenter and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. McAlister enjoyed fishing, wood carving, riding motorcycles and working on cars.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Lynn Payne McAlister on March 3, 2014: and two brothers, Red McAlister and Alvin McAlister.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Carisa and Joe Migliore of Powder Springs; sister, Darlene McAlister Andrews of Rockmart; brother, Kenny (Cindy) McAlister of Rockmart; and two grandchildren, Connor Migliore and Quinn Migliore both of Powder Springs.
Memorial services for Mr. McAlister will be held Sunday, November 27, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Freeman Harris Funeral Home with Rev. Owen (Bud) Davis, Jr. officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 2:00 p.m. until the memorial hour.
