Candace Gober, 39 years, of Rockmart, GA, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on Monday, October 4, 2021.
She was born on February 26, 1982 to Randall and Sue Markham in Macon, GA. She graduated from Jones County High School in 2000.
Anyone who knew Candace was touched by her warmth, kindness, sense of humor and love of family. She was a loving and supportive wife to her husband William Gober, whom she adored. Candace centered her life around being the best mother and felt that her greatest achievement in life was her daughter Alyssa. Alyssa was absolutely her pride and joy and she reveled in every day spent with her.
She is survived by her mother Sue Markham, father Randall Markham, husband William Gober, daughter Alyssa Childers, stepdaughter Alina Gober, brother Kim Markham (Katie), niece, nephew and many other relatives and friends.
Memorial Services for Mrs. Gober will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 1:00 PM in The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Danny Key officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, October 8, 2021 from 12:00 PM until the service begins at 1:00 PM.
