Zachery Ryan “Trills” Sorrells, age 23, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Tuesday morning, April 11, 2023, following a courage battle with leukemia.
Ryan was born in Rome, GA, on February 4, 2000, and had lived all his life in Rockmart.
He attended Rockmart High School and worked with Eby-Brown Company. “Trills” loved playing video games and hanging with family and friends.
Ryan was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Woodrow and Pearl Brumbelow, and Great-grandfather, Sam Sorrells.
Ryan is survived by his mother, Shannon Sorrells, of Rockmart; grandparents, Vickie and David Gable of Cedartown, GA; great-grandmother, Bobbie Sorrells, of Rockmart; special aunt and uncle, Greg and Deborah Sorrells of Rockmart; special aunt, Melissa Hawkins, of Rockmart; half-brother, Justin Thompson, of Lithia Springs, GA. Numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
A Celebration Of Life for Ryan will be held Friday afternoon, April 14, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Dunn officiating. Following the service, Ryan will be cremated.
Ryan’s family will receive friends Thursday from 12:00 noon until the service hour.
