Mr. William D. “Will” Pittman, age 37, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023.
Will was born in Rome, GA on November 17, 1986, a son of David Pittman and Lynn Burnley Pittman.
Will had lived all of his life in Rockmart and was a 2005 graduate of Rockmart High School.
He had a love for the outdoors, music and his dog “Little Man.” Will had the biggest heart and would do anything to bring a smile to someone’s face. His personality was infectious. Another quality of Will’s was being a perfectionist, and was very meticulous about his work.
Will was preceded in death by his brother, Maxwell Vaughn “Max” Pittman; and grandparents, Arthur and Ineita Burnley and Thomas “Dude” and Frances Pittman.
Will is survived by his three daughters, Lauren Pittman, Sophia Pittman, and Madelyn Pittman; significant other, Cassie Tant; father, David Pittman and his wife Traci; mother, Lynn Pittman; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon, January 7, 2024 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Pardue officiating and eulogies given by David Burnley and Donna Chadwick. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will include Donnie Burnley, Jon Carter, Bob Platt, James “Cooter” Carter, Blake Moates, Michael Brown, and David Pittman. Honorary pallbearers will include Trent McGinnis, Cody Warren, Adam Dean, Terry Albert, Ben Dunwoody, Paden Teems, Jesse Payne, Drew Lindsey, Matt Singleton, and Chris Miller.
