Mrs. Vicki Chupp, age 65, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Tuesday afternoon, January 24, 2023.
Vicki was born in Rome, GA, on July 29, 1957, daughter of the late James Mitchell and Martha Garner Mitchell. She had lived all her life Rockmart and was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church.
Vicki was a substitute teacher with the Polk County School System for many years. She enjoyed traveling and loved working with crafts.
In addition to her parents, Vicki was preceded in death by a sister, Rebecca “Becky” Jones.
Vicki is survived by her husband, Greg Chupp, whom she married September 2, 1989; sixteen children, Kara (Ronnie) Wilson, Tambree (Chad) Williams, Kalen (William) Gilbert, Dakota (Ansley) Hitchcock, Walker Chupp, John Chupp, Bailey (Catlin) Chupp, Shuna (Adam) Wilson, Nikki Hutchinson, Christy Chupp, Bridgett (Jonathan) Badon, Brittney (Levi) Kitchens, Elizabeth (Shawn) Gray, Gracie Chupp, Chyanne Chupp, and Emiley Edwards; twenty-six grandchildren, Avery Wilson, Kevin Wilson, Karis Wilson, Addison Wilson, Jac Williams, Cole Williams, Sam Williams, Jake Harris, Zachary Harris, Olivia Wilson, Haley Wilson, Rainey Hitchcock, Andi Claire Hitchcock, Alonzo Badon, Wrenley Kitchens, Harlyn Kitchens, Brodie Chupp, Coleson Chupp, Blayne Clark, Holston Clark, Linslee Gilbert, Jacob Gilbert, Leland Gilbert, Amy Chupp, Carter Gray and Leighton Edwards; great-granddaughter, Brynlee Holloman; sister, Teresa (Barry) Jackson; brother, Duran Mitchell. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Vicki will be Friday afternoon, January 27, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Purser officiating. Interment will follow in Polk Memory Gardens.
Vicki’s family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Thursday evening, January 26, 2023, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will include Ronnie Wilson, Chad Williams, William Gilbert, Clyde Argo, Dakota Hitchcock, and Barry Jackson.
