Police have no condition updates as of this moment, but a husband and wife injured in a wreck near the intersection of Highway 27 and Highway 278 in Cedartown remain in two separate hospitals.

Police Chief Jamie Newsome said that though the report on the incident is incomplete, the motorcycle appears to be the only vehicle involved in the wreck on Thursday evening. A lifeflight helicopter was needed for at least one of the riders to transport to the hospital following the accident.
