Two women were injured – one seriously enough to require a trip by helicopter to an area medical center – in a wreck this afternoon on Highway 113 just in front of Jefferson’s.
According to Rockmart Police Department’s Sgt. Walters, the wreck involved a Ford SUV and a Ford pickup truck.
The driver of one of the vehicles – also believed to be at-fault in the wreck – appears to have turned out in front of the other.
The driver was being sent by Lifeflight to an area medical center, and her passenger was also being transported by EMS to the hospital. The condition of both women was yet unknown at this time.
A third person was not reported as injured.
