Mr. Tommy Dewayne Miller, age 54, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Thursday afternoon, December 21, 2023, in Rome, GA.
Tommy was born in Gadsden, AL, on December 29, 1965, son of Barbara Hughes Miller and the late John L. Miller.
He had lived the greater part of his life in Rockmart. Tommy worked for many years in construction as a sheetrock and drywall hanger. He enjoyed fishing and watching football, especially the Atlanta Falcons and University of Georgia Bulldogs.
In addition to his father, Tommy was preceded in death by a brother, James Miller and a nephew, Tim Ledford.
Tommy is survived by his mother, Barbara Miller; sister, Ann Miller; brother, Danny Miller; nephew, Eric Miller; nieces, Sasha (Stephen) Miller, Makayla Miller and Sarah Miller; great niece and nephews, Landon, Bentley, and Haley.
Memorial services for Tommy will be Thursday, December 28, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Rich Haney officiating.
Tommy’s family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 2:00 p.m. until the service hour.
