Timothy Preston “Tim” Yarbrough, age 60, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Tuesday morning, March 12, 2024, at his residence.
Tim was born in Rockmart on November 4, 1963, a son of Willie Sue Morgan Yarbrough and the late Preston Yarbrough.
He had lived all his life in Rockmart and was a graduate of Rockmart High School. Tim was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and was an avid University of Georgia fan, enjoying both softball and football.
In addition to his father, Tim was preceded in death by his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sara and Brian Perry.
Tim is survived by his wife, Tracy Perry Yarbrough, whom he married March 3, 1995; three children, Kayla (Jeremy) Walls, Ryan Nichelson and Halli Yarbrough; three grandchildren, Sydney, Jenna, and Sarah; mother, Willie Sue Yarbrough; sister, Terrie Yarbrough; brother, Teddy (Nanna) Yarbrough; special friend, Walter Zuker.
Funeral services for Tim will be Friday afternoon, March 15, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Brent Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery with Rev. Josh Johnson officiating.
Tim’s family will receive friends on Thursday evening, March 14, 2024, at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will include Teddy Yarbrough, Walter Zuker, Daniel Perry, Charles Howard, Jeremy Walls, and Phong Tran.
