Congratulations goes out to one local business who took an award from the Georgia Business Journal’s Best of Georgia award.
Owner Cyerra Roberts got the news just a few days ago that The Pink Place by Cyerra was voted Best of Georgia 2023 in the Permanent Make-up Clinics category.
Roberts, has been working as a makeup artist since she was 15. After she graduated high school, she worked for 911 to help support her dream career in Polk. She’s been a traveling makeup artist throughout the years, and for a time moved away from home for additional training and work.
She came home from Roswell three years ago and as the world was shutting down as she was starting a new business. Now at 30, she’s enjoying a business that has thrived, and now The Pink Place by Cyerra is serving customers from all over the place.
“I adore my clients and seeing the confidence light up when I can help them feel more beautiful with cosmetic tattooing,” she said. “I have clients that drive hours and fly just to get their face done by me!”
The Best of Award wasn’t expected since a client submitted The Pink Place by Cyerra just a couple of weeks prior to the deadline for the Georgia Business Journal’s Best of List for 2023.
She said she was thankful for the nomination and the award, but what really mattered to her was Polk. She said she hopes the award brings more people to the community for service, and also provide opportunities to help with donations to various organizations.
