Those looking for a workout on Main Street can stop back into the JHubbard Enterprises’ own The Gym on Main starting this week.

Owner Jordan Hubbard is bringing the gym he first had open prior to the start of the COVID-19 pandemic back with all updated equipment, a spruced up interior and plans to make it better than ever as he get back into the gym business.

“We spent the past months slowly getting ready to open back up as we decided to refocus our efforts on providing a gym for customers who want a place to workout in downtown Cedartown,” Hubbard said. “It feels great to get it back up and running, and we’re excited for folks to come back and see what we’ve done with the place.”

The Gym on Main will host a soft opening this week to show off new equipment starting on Monday, February 5.

Hubbard said this week will allow potential customers a chance to stop by and say hello – and maybe get in a quick jog on a treadmill – as The Gym on Main hosts a soft opening.

The Gym on Main is located at 224 Main Street – the same spot as the former Studio Fit that Hubbard previously ran in the historic downtown storefront.

Hours will be limited during the opening weeks, and those interested in joining will be able to sign up for an appointment time. Additional opening times will be updated in the days to come.

Plans also include the opportunity to take part in fitness classes at The Gym on Main, Hubbard said.

“The Gym is where everything that Jessica and I have worked for started in Cedartown,” Hubbard said. “It is exciting to get the space back open for the many friends we’ve made along the way and those who were missing their place to get in a workout.”
