Decorations are going up around households in Polk County as halls are being decked with bows of holly and twinkling lights are turned on at night. That can mean only one thing: the holiday season has officially returned. (It’s been around since September if you ask Walmart…)
The 2021 holiday season means the return of the Polk.Today tradition of Letters to Santa! Make sure that your letter to Mr. Claus gets to us as soon as possible, that way he has a chance to read it before Christmas day. We wouldn’t want his elves to finish up the presents for the good children of the world and St. Nick makes his annual flight overnight on Christmas Eve and leave something behind, would we?
Make sure that Santa has your list of gifts and hears how good you’ve been this year by one of three ways:
- If you’re a teacher or an individual sending a large group of letters, please put them all together and send them via kevin@polk.today for posting here on the site.
- You can send a Santa Letter as well via the Polk.Today Facebook/Twitter/Reddit pages through a message
- You can send a physical letter (which will be photographed and posted along with other letters) to 113 N. Main St., Ste. 2, Cedartown, GA, 30125.
- You can fill out the following form:
REMEMBER: ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST BE IN BY DECEMBER 23! (Santa is pretty busy this time of year…)
Photos of letters instead of typing are acceptable, but I would ask they be sent in .jpg or .png file formats and be no more than 1 mb in file size.
Letters are posted in the order in which they are received. Your letter may appear in a group of other letters throughout the holiday season, and may be scheduled at least 24 to 48 hours after being received based on time available by yours truly to get to this project and others during the final month of the year.
We wish everyone a happy and safe holiday season, and hope for a joyous morning opening gifts on the 25th!
