Mrs. Shirley Robinson Nichols, age 68, of Cedartown, GA, passed away Monday morning, April 25, 2022.
Shirley was born in Rockmart, GA, on June 24, 1953, daughter of the late Richard Robinson and Maebell East Robinson.
She was a home health CNA and a member of Faith Baptist Church. Shirley loved attending family gatherings and working in her garden. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Shelia Dean and Ellen Robinson.
Shirley is survived by her children, Scott and Erika Carden, Charity and Hank Cody, and Tonya Peterson (Josh Jones); grandchildren, Adriene and Dillin Rickman, Ridge Carden, Jacob Cody, Madison Wigley, Lauren Carden, Ethan Glover, and Aiden Lyons; sisters and brothers, Patricia and Bob Murphy, Teresa Robinson, Bud and Celia Robinson, and Danny and Lori Robinson.
Funeral services for Shirley will be Wednesday morning, April 27, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Smith & Miller Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Swift and Rev. Danny Tucker officiating. Interment will follow in New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery in Rockmart with Rev. Joseph Landrum conducting graveside rites.
Shirley’s family will receive friends at Smith & Miller Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will include Cole Duke, Jacob Cody, Ridge Carden, Ethan Glover, Dillin Rickman, and Trevor Brewster.
