A pile of toys that only St. Nick could appreciate is growing at the Polk County Sheriff’s Office over the past weeks as the annual drive to ensure youth throughout the community have a happy holiday.

Multiple organizations across Polk have given already to help ensure the annual Toys Express program put on by the Polk County Sheriffs Office has enough donations for the hundreds of youth who were signed up by their parents.

Signups to receive gifts have already closed. However, the Sheriffs Office is still accepting monetary and toy donations to help ensure there is plenty for those who are signed up to get Christmas gifts.

Among the organizations, groups and businesses that have donated include: Bradford Drugs, the Wimberly Hill Adult Sunday School Class, Woodmen Life Polk Chapter, the Cosmetology Club and National Honor Society of Cedartown High School, Morning View Baptist Church in Rockmart, Life Matters Outreach, Cedartown Huddle House, the District Attorney’s office, Dollar General on Highway 27 South, Russell’s Diner, Michelle Ruper State Farm Insurance, Regions Bank, Truist Bank in Rockmart, Cedartown Automotive, Pizza Hut in Rockmart, Tilley’s Home Furnishings, and many more.

Check out the Polk County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page for more information about the program and donations made from the community.
