Miss Sandra E. McElwee, age 73, of Rome, passed away, Wed. Sept. 28, 2022, at a local health care facility.
Sandra was born in Rome, on ,Oct. 8, 1948, to the late Dual and Maybelle Smith McElwee. Besides her parents Sandra was proceeded in death by four brothers, and two sisters.
Sandra is survived by two sons, Mark Adams, Scott Adams (Melissa), and by a daughter, Tracy Adams Phelps, five Grand-Children and two Great-Grandchildren, and by a brother, James Eddie McElwee also survive.
Funeral services for Sandra will be held at 2 pm. on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2022, in the chapel of Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home, with the Rev. Chuck McElwee officiating, interment will follow in North View Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2022, from 12 pm til 2 pm, at the funeral home.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers and include, Lance Adams, Brody Adams, Tim McElwee, Tony McElwee, Charles McElwee, and Jamie Schiek.
