Sandra Leah Mills Bonnell, born March 6, 1947, in Jacksonville, FL, to Ralph and Cora Lee Mills, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Sandra was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose kindness and generosity touched the lives of all who knew her. She spent many years working as a courier for CHC, always committed to her work and those she served.

However, her greatest joy came from spending time outdoors—fishing, swimming, gardening, and embracing the beauty of nature. Her love for the water and the peacefulness it brought reflected her warm and calming presence.  

When she wasn’t outside, Sandra found fulfillment in the kitchen, where she expressed her love through cooking. She took great pride in preparing meals for her family, turning every gathering into a cherished memory.

Sandra’s greatest joy was her family. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 36 years, Paul Bonnell; her daughters, Leah Wood (Kelly) of Cedartown, GA, and Brandi Manning (Jeremy) of Cedartown; her son, Jason Gable of Cedartown; and a special niece, Lula Tanner. Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren, Dustin Wood, Allen Pruitt (Rio), Courtney Wood, Chase Manning (Lorena), Logan Gable, Kelly Corbett, Carson Gable, Drake Manning, Logan Corbett, and Randall Corbett, as well as her great-grandson, Foster Pruitt. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.  Sandra is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Cora Lee Mills, her brother, Dale Mills, and her sister, Judith Mosley.

Sandra’s life will be honored at a funeral service on Friday, March 21, 2025, at First Baptist Church in Jasper, FL, at 11:00 a.m. A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 20, at Harry T. Reid Funeral Home from 4 to 6 p.m. Interment will follow the funeral service on Friday at Evergreen Cemetery.

Though she is no longer physically present, Sandra’s love, wisdom, and warmth will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
