Mrs. Ruby Grogan, age 86, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on March 6, 2024. Mrs. Grogan was born on April 16, 1937, to the late J. Earl Little and K. Idell Little. She is also preceded by her husband, J.W. Grogan, and sister, Annie V. Little White.
She was a faithful member of Lime Branch Baptist Church for many years. Ruby retired after many years of service from the Georgia State Patrol Post in Cedartown.
During her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and working at Cedartown Food Pantry.
She is survived by her sons Scott Grogan (Karen) and Mark Grogan, her grandchildren Hannah Grogan Whitcomb (Bryan), Jake Grogan (Hannah), Megan Brown (Trey), Alex Cash (Hunter), Austin Robertson, and many great-grandchildren.
The family will hold a visitation on Friday, March 8, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Litesey Funeral Home. The funeral will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Lime Branch Baptist Church, with Brian Crisp and Tommy McGuire officiating. Interment services will follow at Lime Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.
The following gentlemen will be pallbearers: Jake Grogan, Bryan Whitcomb, Mike Lester, Hunter Cash, Alex Orebaugh, and Luke Orebaugh.
