Mr. Ronnie Taylor, age 68, of Rockmart, GA, passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021.
Mr. Taylor was born on December 1, 1952 in Atlanta, GA, to his parents: Joe Franklin Taylor and Jewell Smith Taylor.
Ronnie spent the greater part of his life in Polk County. He was self employed as a painter. In his free time, he enjoyed listening to music, watching movies and telling jokes.
He also enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and his great-grandchildren and spending time with his family. Mr. Taylor was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend who will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his 2 brothers: Thomas Taylor and Ken Taylor and his sister, Brenda Allen.
Mr. Taylor is survived by his loving wife whom he married on June 1, 2014, Julie Taylor, 6 children: David Snell, Sarah Ellison, Teresa Snell, Tossa Taylor, Daniel Snell and Charmin Lanagan. 19 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers: David Taylor and Randy Taylor and a number of nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Mr. Taylors wishes, his body will be cremated and a memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 2:00 PM in The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Chapel with eulogies given by family and friends.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on November 11, 2021 from 1:00 PM until the service begins at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request that memorial donations be made to the funeral home to help with Mr. Taylors final expenses.
Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements of Mr. Ronnie Taylor.
