There’s projects aplenty going on in the City of Rockmart, and elected officials will be gathering to discuss progress on those and other areas where planning ahead is essential for success.
The Mayor and Council will be gathering on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 8 a.m. in the council chambers to review the upcoming year, goals and projects.
Those include but aren’t limited to the playground at the Nathan Dean Sports Complex, the future amphitheater in downtown at Church Street Manor, and a potential new Public Works facility.
City officials will also be discussing goals for the upcoming year during the work session.
Per the city, private development inside the city whether residential or commercial will not be discussed during this work session next weekend. Additionally, no votes are being cast during this work session.
