REPORT: Woman jailed days after arrest for fake lease on meth charge

Polk County Police arrested two women when they found them improperly parked on Cobb Street in Cedartown on Tuesday evening, and one of the pair had just gotten out of jail for multiple charges.

Ryan Adelia Thompson, 44, and Faith Anne Stamps, 46, both of Cedartown-area addresses, were booked into custody late on Tuesday evening after police found them parked on the wrong side of the roadway on Cobb Street in Cedartown around 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 19.

The report did not go into detail about how the pair were found with drugs, but police did note a third individual had been at the driver’s side window before “further investigation” ended with Thompson and Stamps placed in handcuffs.

Thompson was previously arrested and charged for attempting to create a fake lease and live in a residence of a man who is in a nursing home along with a methamphetamine possession charge.

She was booked at the time on an $8,800 bond after three days in jail.

Thompson remains in jail as of this posting on an a $6,000 bond on a felony methamphetamine possession charge and misdemeanor charge for improper parking.

Stamps was also being held on a $5,000 bond for her single felony charge for possession of methamphetamine.
