Emergency personnel were out in the rain this morning after a pickup truck caught fire at the intersection of Highway 278 and Prospect Road, according to officials.

Polk County Police reported that fire, police and EMS were called out to the intersection this morning after an older model Chevrolet or GMC pickup caught fire in the left lane heading eastbound on Highway 278 at the intersection.

No injuries were reported and no other vehicles were involved.
