Randall Kyle Guttery

A Cave Spring teen was jailed by Polk County Police after he was clocked going 80 mph in the area around Pea Ridge Road and Highway 278 and was found to be driving on a suspended license.

Reports stated that police arrested Randall Kyle Guttery, 19, of 25 Rome Road SW, Cave Spring, on misdemeanor charges of driving while license suspended or revoked and speeding in excess of maximum limits on Tuesday, May 18 at around 7:45 a.m.

Guttery was spotted by the officer in a 2006 BMW 330i passing other vehicles and switching lanes much faster than other drivers around him and clocked his speed at 80 mph in a 55 mph zone, per the report.

When pulled over a confronted about how fast he was going, Guttery was reported to have refused the officer showing him a radar accuracy check.



Police however did find out after running his information through the statewide system that he was driving on a suspended license that had just gone into effect on May 6.

Guttery was taken into custody without any further incident and booked into the Polk County Jail.

He was released on a $2,610 bond.
