The Rockmart Cultural Arts Center took time out on Saturday evening to honor a longtime contributor to the local arts scene with a gala event at the Rockmart Theatre.
Rex Garner was named the Artist of the Year, and a special presentation was made during the Saturday night event for the RCAC to show their appreciation for his work and talent.
The Rockmart Cultural Arts Patron Appreciation and Gala on Saturday also saw Garner and band playing for an audience of friends and arts lovers in Polk County.
