Randy Harling Bradford, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on February 8, 2024, at the age of 71. He was born on December 3, 1952, in Cedartown, GA to the late George Harling Bradford and Evelyn Strickland Bradford.

Randy was a retired employee of Meggitt, where he dedicated many years of his life. He was known for his hard work ethic and commitment to excellence. Randy’s dedication to his career was admirable and served as an inspiration to those around him.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Randy also had a deep love for fishing. Spending time by the water brought him peace and joy. Randy’s passion for reading extended beyond fishing magazines; he was an avid reader. His particular interest in history and the Civil War made him a true scholar in this field.

Randy proudly served in the United States Army, where he exemplified courage and loyalty. His military service shaped him into the honorable man he became throughout his life.

On Saturday, February 17, 2024, family and friends will gather at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home and Crematory in Rockmart, GA, for visitation from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM in chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Howard officiating. These services will be held to commemorate Randy’s life and provide comfort to those grieving his loss.

Randy leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He is survived by his loving wife of many years, Betty Easterwood Bradford; daughters April Michelle (John) Strickland and Tina Marie Hendrix; grandchildren Cody James Crocker, Michael Corey Strickland, Taylor Marie Cason, Ronnie Chase Lindsey; great-grandchildren Ava Marie Cason, Anthony Ray Cason, Michael River Strickland, Conner Lee Strickland; and sister Laura (Julian) Alvizo.

In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his brothers Charles William Bradford and Joe Allen Bradford.

We remember Randy with love, gratitude, and admiration. His gentle spirit and compassionate nature touched the lives of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered in our hearts.
