Some good news for Polk School District’s leadership team: they are award winners for this year.

The Georgia Association of Educational Leaders awarded their Vision Award to Polk School District for 2022, given to district leadership teams who are at the top of their class in leadership in education and being forward-thinking about the future of public education in the state.

The PSD announced the award on social media today.

The Georgia Association of Educational Leaders is a statewide organization that has been providing service to educational leaders for the past 48 years. They like other organizations around the state provide a variety of services to district-level leaders, but also advocate for legislative priorities in education on the state and national level.

Their upcoming winter conference is being held next Monday and Tuesday in Savannah.
