Mrs. Peggy Ann Moore Parrish, age 84 of Rockmart, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2022.
Mrs. Parrish was born October 27, 1938, daughter of the late Gus Moore and the late Thelma Brown Moore.
She was of the Baptist faith and worked in office management having retired from the Lockheed Credit Union with 30+ years of service.
Mrs. Parrish enjoyed gospel music and crocheting and loved family time, especially with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Waylon Parrish on May 26, 2010; infant daughter, Patricia Hembree; infant grandson, José Victoria; and two sisters, Dorothy Owens and Elizabeth Wolfe.
Survivors include five children, Melissa Flores of Cedartown, Cindy Victoria of Cedartown, Tammy (Ricky) Cabe of Cartersville, Susan Autry of Rome and Ernie (Renee) Parrish of Silver Creek; nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Parrish will be held Sunday, December 18, 2022 at 12 noon in the chapel of the Freeman Harris Funeral Home with Rev. Vern Batts officiating. Interment service will follow in Polk Memory Gardens.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Andy Flores, Donny Victoria, Cody McKinley, Kaylup Sherbert, Tony Cabe and Jerry Cabe.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
