Mrs. Leigh Osborne Folds, age 64, of Rockmart, GA (the Yorkville Community), passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020 surrounded by her husband and children.
Mrs. Folds was born in Rome, GA on December 3, 1955, a daughter of Robert Osborne and Anne Shirley Osborne. Leigh spent her childhood years in Tifton, GA before moving back to the Yorkville Community where she had lived the past twenty-four years. She loved to sit and watch the birds, enjoyed singing, loved her dogs, but her greatest blessing was spending time with her family that she loved dearly. Mrs. Folds was a member of the Word Of Hope Pentecostal Church in Villa Rica. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Osborne.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald Folds, Yorkville; son, Craig Folds and his wife, Jamie, Calhoun; two daughters: Anna Reynolds and her husband, William, Aragon, and Angela Dawn Payne and her husband, Toby, Yorkville; nine grandchildren: Tanner Folds, Brooke Folds, Julia Folds, Copeland Payne, Amelia Payne, Caleb Burns, Colesen Burns, Ansleigh Burns, and Nathan Reynolds; mama, Mary Osborne; mother, Anne Canon; two brothers: Travis Osborne, San Antonio, and Randy Osborne, North Carolina; three sisters: Elaine Saylor, Ashburn, Rhonda Mathis, Cordele, and Joan Lee, Gulf Shores; a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with eulogies given by the family.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 11:00 am until the funeral hour at the funeral home. Social distancing guidelines will be followed and the family has requested that facial coverings be worn.
