Mrs. Emma Jean Runyon Voyles, age 90 of Rockmart, passed away Monday, November 1, 2021 at Winthrop Health & Rehab of Rome.
She was born September 18, 1931, in Sequoyah, Oklahoma, daughter of the late John Calvin Runyon and the late Mable Marie McCrakin Runyon. She was a self-employed truck driver and of the Catholic faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Voyles; three sisters, Mary Foster, Louise Runyon and Opal Marie Smith; and four brothers, Phillip Runyon, John Runyon, Frankie Runyon and David Runyon.
Survivors include two sisters, Athlen Vinson of Rockmart and Phyllis Ann Rollin of Acworth; a brother, Cecil Runyon of Dalton; and niece and special caregiver, Barbara Buchanan of Rockmart.
No formal services for Mrs. Voyles are planned at this time.
