Mrs. Dolores A. Hassebrock, age 79 of Cedartown, Georgia passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021. 

Dolores was born April 27, 1942 in Cedartown to the late Rayford Baldwin and the late Bertha Campbell Baldwin. She loved to dance and was the life of the party. Dolores was also known as “Dandy”.

She loved her family, providing a haven for children and enjoyed being a caregiver. Dolores was a 3rd generation member of the Cedartown Congregational Holiness Church where she was an avid tither. She worked in housekeeping at Cedar Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation. 

In addition to her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her son Claude Edward Collins, Jr.; her sister, Helen Eaves and brother in law, R.B. Hulsey. 

Survivors include her son, Bradley Hassebrock (Melinda); her daughter, Rhonda Russell; grandchildren: Ben Russell (Sydney), Autumn Charles (Robert), D.J. Strickland (Alexis), Zeke Hassebrock and Sara Hassebrock; great-grandchildren: Iyrie Russell, Emersyn Russell, Antonio Charles and Gracelynn Charles and her sisters and brothers: Helen Eaves (Sonny), Charlotte Hulsey, Norman Baldwin (Teresa), Sherman Baldwin and Terry Baldwin (Gail) along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the chapel at Smith & Miller Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Willingham and Rev. Everette Barton officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Bower Baptist Church Cemetery. 

The following will serve as pallbearers: Zeke Hassebrock, Ben Russell, D.J. Strickland, John Baldwin, Robert Charles and Mike Clark. Draper Campbell will serve as an honorary pallbearer. 

The family will receive friends Friday, September 24, 2021, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
