Mrs. Diane Roberson Arnold Morgan, age 75 of Rockmart, passed away Friday, October 22, 2021.
Mrs. Morgan was born March 19, 1946 in Floyd County, daughter of the late Calvin Edward Roberson, Sr. and the late Frances Marie Cartee Roberson.
She was a 1963 graduate of Rockmart High School and a member of the Van Wert Baptist Church. Mrs. Morgan was a homemaker and her hobbies included painting and cooking.
She had a great love for animals and enjoyed being Nana to her babies.
Survivors include her husband, Timothy Roger Morgan of Rockmart; son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Lori Waits of Lindale; daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Kevin Cornwell of Cleveland, TN; two sisters, Patricia Roberson Stewart and her husband Mark of Cedartown and Cindy Roberson Ivey and her husband Butch of Summerville; brother, Calvin Edward “Eddie” Roberson, Jr. and his wife Jackie of Brook, GA; seven grandchildren, Daniel, Allison, Ben, Matt, Olivia, Morgan and Andrew; five great-grandchildren, Ansley, Kenna, Aubrie, Rylan and Bristol; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Morgan will be held Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the Van Wert Baptist Church with Brother Michael Edwards officiating. Interment service will follow in the New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Owen (Bud) Davis, Jr. officiating.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: “KC” Kevin Cornwell, Andrew Cornwell, Matt Bentley, Ben Waits, Chris Roberson and Mark Williams.
The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday, October 27th prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.
