Mrs. Beverly “Jean” Minton Roberts, age 73, of Aragon, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020. She was born on October 19, 1947 in Atlanta, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Grady Paul and Vader Lula Sargent Minton.
Mrs. Roberts is survived by her daughters, Vanessa and Davinna; sons, Jeff and Jason; grandchildren, DeWayne, Darren, Will, Kenzie, Elizabeth, Bridget, and Ashley; and great-grandchildren, Penelope, Shepherd, Amelya, Cora, Jayce, and Lilah.
Mrs. Roberts is preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Franklin Roberts; and brothers, Horace Lamar Minton, Sr.,Jerry Paul Minton, and Joel Fred Minton, Sr.
The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Beverly “Jean” Minton Roberts will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at seven o’clock in the evening at First Apostolic Church of Rome, 3213 Cave Spring Road, Rome, GA 30161, with Rev. Johnathan Fortner officiating.
The family of Mrs. Roberts will receive family and friends on Thursday, November 12, 2020 from five o’clock in the evening until seven o’clock in the evening at the First Apostolic Church of Rome.
Interment will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020 at eleven o’clock in the morning at Morning View Cemetery in Rome, Georgia.
In accordance with the guidelines and recommendations set forth by the CDC, social distancing guidelines will be in place as well as the use of masks requested for all services provided for Mrs. Beverly Roberts.
