Mrs. Annie Victoria Dutton Couzzort, age 98, of Rome, Georgia, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021. She was born on May 18, 1922 in Cedartown. She was the daughter of the late Marshall James and Bessie Elizabeth Fulbright Dutton.
Mrs. Couzzort is survived by her grandchildren, Willie Floyd Couzzort, III, Tommy Couzzart, Stacy Couzzort, Amanda Couzzort LeFurgey, Jeff Couzzort, Ty Couzzort, and Jonathan Couzzort; 31 great-grandchildren, 24 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Mrs. Couzzort is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willie Floyd Couzzort, Sr.; sons, Willie Floyd Couzzort, Jr., Cecil Franklin Couzzort, and Alfred Tyrus Couzzort; 2 sisters; 3 brothers; and grandchildren, Diane Couzzort, Lisa Maddox Reynolds, and Bo Couzzort.
A graveside service for Mrs. Annie Couzzort will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at two o’clock in the afternoon at Northview Cemetery with Rev. Anthony Trawick officiating.
The family of Mrs. Couzzort will receive family and friends on Thursday, February 4, 2021 from twelve o’clock in the afternoon until the graveside hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.
In accordance with the guidelines and recommendations set forth by the CDC, social distancing guidelines will be in place as well as the use of masks required for all services provided for Mrs. Couzzort.
