Mr. Verna Dwayne King, age 71, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Friday, October 15, 2021.
He was born in Cedartown, GA on August 31, 1950 a son of Helen Morris King and the late Verna King. Mr. King had lived most of his life in Paulding County. He worked for Print Pack in Atlanta for twenty five years and later for King Packaging.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his wife, Dianne Williams King and by his step father, Hugh Shepard.
Survivors include his two children: Wendy King Perry and Kevin King; mother, Helen Shepard; four grandchildren: Cortney King, Wayne King, Tyler Leslie and Dianne King; two great grandchildren: Zachary Leslie and Carson Johnson.
A graveside funeral service for family and close friends will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, October 18th. in the County Line Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Donnie Williams officiating.
The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements for Mr. Verna Dwayne King.
