Mr. Terry James “T.J.” Harcourt Jr., age 39, of Aragon, GA passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020 in a Rome medical center following a brief illness.

He was born in Rome, GA on September 9, 1980 a son of Terry James Harcourt Sr. and Wendy Smith Harcourt. He had lived in the Rockmart area the greater part of his life and was a 1999 graduate of Rockmart High School. T.J. was a former employee of Pugmire Ford, enjoyed riding motorcycles and loved Ford automobiles, especially mustangs. He was a huge Georgia football fan and enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Terri Willis Adair Harcourt, Aragon; five children: Terry “James” Harcourt, III, Sarah Adair, Savannah Harcourt, Orion Adair and Toby Harcourt all of Aragon; parents, Terry James “Bones” Harcourt, Sr. and Wendy Smith Harcourt, Rockmart; sister, Sheena Harcourt, Rockmart; grandparents: Wayne and Nancy Smith, Rome and Frankie and Freddy Stewart, Rome; as well as numerous friends.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 27, 2020 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Mr. Clint Maynard officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakland Cemetery, Rome.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 until 8 pm at the funeral home. Social distancing rules are to be applied, masks are highly recommended and no more than 5o guests at a time allowed in the funeral home.
