Mr. Ronnie Earnest Sutton, age 72 of Taylorsville, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021.
He was born January 31, 1949 in Cartersville, son of the late Mr. Earnest Lee Sutton and Mrs. Edna Mae Smith Sutton. He was a farmer and avid outdoorsman who enjoyed gardening, hunting, and cooking. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t do. His favorite pastimes included dirt track racing, NASCAR, and football. He was a people person who had never met a stranger and loved his friends and family with all his heart.
Survivors include: his wife of 47 years, Vickie Sutton; son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Kristi Sutton; sister, Irma Hembree; and grandchildren, Jackson Lee Sutton and Emma Skelton.
Funeral graveside and interment services for Mr. Sutton will be held Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in the Bethel Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Harris officiating.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Lamar Pendley, Billy Thomason, Ricky Sutton, Larry Earwood, Joseph Rutland, Shane Hembree, and Jimmy Woods.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Euharlee Farmer’s Club.
The family will receive friends at Freeman Harris Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either the National Kidney Foundation (www.kidney.org/donation) or the Lupus Foundation of America (www.lupus.org/donate).
