Mr. Harold G. Gary age 84 of Cedartown Georgia passed away Friday September 10, 2021.
Mr. Gary was born February 7, 1937 in Cedartown Ga. to the late W. E. “Buck” & Zelah Grogan Gary and was also preceded in death by his wife Sybil Annette Peek Gary, son Gregory Willis Gary, Great Grandson Joseph Tervin Schwab and Sister and Brother in law Louise Gary Bryant and J.D. Bryant.
Mr. Gary was a proud member of the First Baptist Church and a 50 year Royal Arch Mason with Caledonia Lodge #101 F. & A.M.
Surviving are his daughter Annette Gary Johnson (Greg), granddaughter Adrienne Nicole Gary (Jamie Poole), great grandchildren Gregory Austin Kohi Gray, Isabella Nicole Grace Gary, Maxwell Grogan Gary and Sophia Abigail Gary and his Fur baby and constant companion Abby.
Funeral service will be held Sunday September 19, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Chris Moses and Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating, Interment will follow at the Polk Memory Gardens with masonic rites conducted by Caledonia Lodge #101 F. & A.M. The family will receive friends Sunday September 19, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at the church.
The family has asked Out of concern and respect for each other, the family requests that friends comply with best practices in preventing the spread of COVID-19, including face coverings and social distancing.
Pallbearers are Ryan Johnson, Todd Peek, Trey Peek, Trevor Peek, Tyler Peek and Jeffrey Tyra.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests that dination be made to the First Baptist Church Joash Chest for church renovations or First Baptist Church Acts 1:8 Mission Fund to support the mission work in Ecuador.
