Mr. Dual Clyde Shaw, age 83, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020. He was born on May 7, 1937 in Floyd County, Georgia. He was the son of the late John William and Willie Mae Barnett Shaw.
Mr. Shaw served the country in the National Guard for 13 years. He was a supervisor with Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company and retired with 21 years from Shaw Industries. He was a member and Deacon of the Youngs Grove Baptist Church.
Mr. Shaw is survived by his wife, Ann Tanner Shaw; daughter, Teresa Meade (Bruce); son, Christopher Shaw; sister, Edna Medlin (Joe); grandchildren, Bruce J. Meade (Tiffany), Steve Meade, Lafe Meade (Michelle), Katie Meade (Josh), and Kellie Cunningham (Mikki); several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Shaw is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, J.W. Shaw.
A private graveside service will be held for Mr. Dual Clyde Shaw.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Bruce J. Meade, Lafe Meade, Josh Cook, Mikki Cunningham, Rodney Dodd, and David Frazier.
The family has respectfully requested that floral arrangements are to be omitted and donations can be made to Youngs Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 2255 Antioch Road, Cedartown, GA 30125.
