Mr. Charles Freddie Garner, age 82 of Marietta, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021.
Mr. Garner was born May 20, 1939 in Rockmart, son of the late Clifford Garner and the late Vernelle Howell Garner Jones.
He was a 1957 graduate of Rockmart High School and a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Garner was a self-employed broker, realtor, and builder in the construction industry and was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church of Marietta.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Bowman Garner of Marietta; two sons, Bill Garner of Marietta and John Garner and his wife Joyce of Woodstock; sister, June McCullough of Rome; two brothers, Mack Garner and his wife Gracie of California and Frank Garner of Marietta; three grandchildren, Logan Garner, Maddy Garner and Noah Garner.
Memorial services for Mr. Garner will be held at the Faith Lutheran Church of Marietta with Pastor Carl Schneider officiating. (Date and time to be announced)
