Mrs. Mary Annette Prewett Ledford, age 83 of Cedartown, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024. She was born on December 18, 1940 in Cedartown. She was the daughter of the late Jessie Kate and Robert Prewett.
Mrs. Ledford graduated from Cedartown High School and later received a degree in accounting from the University of West Georgia. She retired from Hon after many years of service. She was a devoted member of the Church of Christ.
Mrs. Ledford loved to travel and read, but her favorite thing was taking care of her many cats.
Mrs. Ledford is survived by her sons, Leland Ledford (Kim) and Evan Ledford; grandchildren, Taylor Ledford (Shelby), Carson Ledford (Katie), and Daniel Ledford; and great-granddaughter, Lila Kate Ledford.
Mrs. Ledford is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Bobby George Ledford.
In keeping with Mrs. Ledford’s wishes, she was cremated. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
