Mr. Marvin Carter, age 58, of Rome, Georgia, passed away on February 28, 2024.
Mr. Carter was born November 6, 1965 to the late James and Clara Carter.
Mr. Carter worked for many years in construction, where his passion for woodworking carried over into his retirement.
Surviving Mr. Carter is his daughter Tawana Watson; brothers, Wayne Carter and Jimmy Carter; sister, Suzan Jarrell; grandchildren, Christian Pope and Kaden Pope. Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews also survive him.
The family will hold a private memorial service to honor Mr. Carter in the coming days.
