Mrs. Margaret F. Godwin of Smith Field, VA passed away July 5, 2022. Mrs. Godwin was born February 8, 1926 to the late Grover and Nola Marchman.
Mrs. Godwin was formerly a resident of Cedartown, Ga for many years.
In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband Sorrells Godwin and her three brothers.
Surviving Mrs. Godwin are her sons; Steve Godwin (Kelly), John Godwin (Darcy) and Gerald (Jerry) Godwin; daughter Leila Scott (Greg); sister Rachael Brinkley (Charles); Six grandchildren; four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive.
A graveside service will be held for Mrs. Godwin Monday, July 11, 2022 at eleven o’clock at the Bellview Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating.
