Mrs. Margaret Ann Quillian, age 73, of Cedartown, GA, passed away Wednesday afternoon, April 6, 2022, in a local healthcare facility.
Mrs. Quillian was born in Anniston, AL, on July 23, 1948, daughter of the late Claude Lee Mitchell and Sara Ruth Warren Mitchell.
She had been a resident of Cedartown the greater part of her life and was a member of East View Baptist Church.
Mrs. Quillian received her bachelor’s degree in English from Shorter College and taught for a brief time before becoming a housewife and homemaker. She enjoyed fishing and loved teddy bears and was always helping others.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Quillian was preceded in death by two sons, Lee Quillian and Kevin Parke Willian, and a brother, Herman Mitchell.
Mrs. Quillian is survived by her husband of 52 years, Dillard Parke Quillian; a sister, Robin Reddish; a brother, Johnny Mitchell; a special nephew, K.C. Reddish, and a special niece, Amanda Reddish. A host of other relatives and friends also survive.
A Memorial Service for Mrs. Quillian will be held Tuesday afternoon, April 12, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. in East View Baptist Church. Interment will following Oak Hill Cemetery in Cartersville, GA.
