Mrs. Lynda C. Royer, age 71, of Dallas, GA, passed away Friday, April 14, 2023, at her residence.
Lynda was born in Chamblee, GA, on September 5, 1951, daughter of the late James Virgil Carter, Jr. and Frances Fears Carter.
She had been a resident of Dallas since 2001, moving there from Douglasville, GA, and prior to that, lived in Atlanta, GA. Lynda was a member of Branches of Christ Church. She was a middle school teacher, retiring from Herschel Jones Middle School in Dallas.
Lynda is survived by her husband, Cecil Royer, whom she married May 7, 1988; sister, Amelia Randolph; niece, Katie Randolph.
Graveside and interment services for Mrs. Royer will be held on Wednesday afternoon, April 19, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Lynda’s family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Wednesday from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m.
