Mrs. Lillian Faye Binnion, age 81, of Aragon, GA passed away Friday, January 26, 2024.
Lillian was born in Cartersville, GA on June 27, 1942, a daughter of the late Clomie Haney and Nellie Mae “Nell” Davis Haney.
She had lived the greater part of her life in Aragon and attended the Church of God Of The Union Assemble. She had great love for sewing but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Shane Deems; sisters, Dorothy Haney, Joyce Haney Deems, Debbie Haney Jones; brothers, Earl Haney, Charlie Haney, Junior Haney, Thomas Haney, and Ricky Hobbs.
Lillian is survived by her daughter, Gay Weaver (Kenneth); two granddaughters, Ashley Hopkins (Russ) and Amber Weaver (Cheston Haygood); great-grandchildren, Autumn Hopkins, Sadie Hopkins, Payton Mulkey, and Preston Mulkey; brother, James Haney; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, January 28, 2024 at 5:00 pm in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Thomas officiating.
The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 4:00 pm until the service hour at the funeral home.
